Anne McNeill-Pulati
Anne studied art at St Albans Art School Hertfordshire BA Hons 1984-88, and has been producing art for 40 years. She describes her colourful work as 'narrative with a spiritual basis'. She has exhibited in Australia, New York, Hong Kong, as well as the UK. She works from her studio at The Chocolate Factory Studios, London N22. Her inspirations are often influenced by story, usually from a metaphysical angle which has a basis in myths and legends, anciet mythology and/or spiritual belief. Happenings from the world arena frequently link up and inform her symbolism. Her paintings include a mix of abstraction with clearly defined figurative aspects, emphasising the light and dark. She utilizes the textures that paint can create, and works predominantly in oil on canvas, or ink and gouache on paper.
